The resurfacing of Mercury Boulevard was an ARRA Stimulus Project for the City of Hampton.  The primary project requirement was asphalt paving of approximately 3.43 miles of Mercury Boulevard from Coliseum Drive to King Street and from the Newport News City Limits to Big Bethel Road.  Additional tasks included loops, saw cutting, striping, and milling.  This project was completed in the Fall of 2010.  Making this project especially challenging was the dense urban environment where the construction took place.  Ensuring safety and efficient delivery while managing dense traffic loads took constant diligence from our project management and safety teams.  The completed project is incredibly smooth and offers a fantastic ride.

Each year Branscome Incorporated recognizes the Employee of the Year for each division. All the managers will agree, this is one of the toughest decisions they have to make each year since we are blessed with so many hard working and dependable employees. The winners were presented with a new coat embroidered with his or her name, division, and the year.  Congratulations to each of this year's recipients.
