Route 360 Road Widening and Overlay Project is another two phase project contracted through Chesterfield County. The Project is to be built according to VDOT and FHWA specifications. The Route 360 project is a "time is of the essence" job with strict and costly penalties for not completing within the owners timeline.

We began Phase I, the west bound lane, on July 10, 2006 and met our substantial completion date of December 11, 2006. Phase I included sanitary sewer relocation, storm sewer, grading, stone, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk and asphalt for the fourth (4th) travel lane. We will place surface asphalt and permanent stripe in May 2007.

We will begin construction on Phase II, the east bound lane, on March 5, 2007 and are set to complete the entire project by no later than August 6, 2007. Phase II consists of storm sewer, grading, stone, concrete curb & gutter, sidewalk and asphalt for the fourth (4th) travel lane. This job is being constructed to alleviate the traffic on one of the Counties most traveled roads and has very strict lane closure limits.
